Before we got to work on the website we needed to come up with a logo that portrayed the concept of memoir writing. Company owner Donald Grant had already come up with a great name which made design conceptualization very easy. The final design consists of an old world style font with a scenic road illustration inside the letter “O” of the word “Road”, the idea being, a window into the journey of life. The branding was then carried forward into the website design.
We needed a logo and website to launch our new business, The Road I Travelled, and initially contemplated creating our own. Looking on the Internet for inspiration, we came across Bluehouse and as we liked their own website we approached them for advice. Over the coming weeks they initially designed our logo and then website, keeping us involved at every step. In addition to designing the site Bluehouse produced an SEO Report, helping to increase visibility and providing useful marketing information.
